Isla Macías is located in the General Carrera lake, Aysén Region, Chile, 5km south of the Marvel Caves. It has a surface of 250 hectares and includes seven beaches, forests made of arayanes, coigues and antarctic beeches, two peaks at 700 mamsl and exclusive trekking tracks.

Isla Macías is the biggest island in the General Carrera lake and its privileged location near Puerto Tranquilo allows an easy access to this town from where you can get to the most important natural atracttions of the Aysen region, the San Rafael Lagoon and the Marble Caves, as well as other important attractions such as Puerto Cristal and Exploradores and Leones Glacier.
